For nearly four decades, Herlong Architects + Interiors has designed homes shaped by the water — from the barrier islands of the South Carolina Lowcountry to the shores of the Caribbean. We know the light, the tides, and the way a home should settle into its landscape.

Our roots run deepest along the coast of the Lowcountry — Kiawah Island, Daniel Island, Isle of Palms, James Island, and Sullivan's Island — where years of designing homes have taught us each community's character. That same coastal sensibility travels with us to the islands of the Caribbean, where the principle that guides every project — designing homes that belong to their surroundings — translates effortlessly to a new shoreline.
